[Apply on Boeing’s careers site →](https://boeing.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/External_Careers/job/USA---Berkeley-MO/Senior-Quality-Engineer_JR2026522328) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Boeing](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/boeing/) / Senior Quality Engineer ## Job description ### Senior Quality Engineer Company The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO. ### Position Responsibilities Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation Provides interpretation of complex requirements. - Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements - Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities - Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs - Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness - Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances - Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions - Develops and implements corrective actions - Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved - Works under minimal direction Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science - 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) - 5+ year of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) 5+ of Quality Inspection experience, including FAI (First Article Inspection) - 5+ years of experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Certifications - 5+ years of experience in manufacturing Quality Engineering role Travel: Position may require travel up to 10% of the time. ### Conflict of Interest Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. ### Total Rewards At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
