[Apply on Boeing’s careers site →](https://boeing.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/External_Careers/job/USA---Buffalo-NY/Lead-Supplier-Program-Management-Specialist_JR2026525947) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Boeing](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/boeing/) / Lead Supplier Program Management Specialist ## Job description ### Lead Supplier Program Management Specialist Company The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Supplier Program Management Specialist (Level 5) to join our Space Launch Systems (SLS) at our supplier (MOOG) in Buffalo, New York. ### Position Responsibilities - Oversees technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs - Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs - Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases - Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions - Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies - Provides oversight, guidance, and verification of work movement projects - Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues, and opportunities to stakeholders - Manages work movement plans This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. ### Shift This position is for 1st shift. ### NASA Access This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. ### Export Control This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. ### Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study) More than - 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action More than - 5 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): More than - 10 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity More than - 10 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance More than - 10 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions More than - 10 years of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations More than - 10 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services More than - 10 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. ### Relocation Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
