The T-7 Flight Readiness Technician will perform routine final component installation and verification, as well as systems operational functional validation testing. Flight Readiness Technicians perform rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery, and troubleshooting. ### Position Responsibilities - Identifies problems and coordinates follow up communication with support organizations for problem resolution - Provides technical support in problem identification for pre-flight and post-flight checks, inspect and document non-conformance with high complexity - Performs inspections of flight test installations and aircraft functional testing - Inspects pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and documents faulty components - Conducts pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs inspections of maintenance and modification actions - Resolves identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products - Verifies the accuracy of work performed - Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery - Plans, schedules and arranges daily activities with the assistance of lead - Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret – Interim Pre-Start & Final Post Start which the US Government requires US Citizenship. ### Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) - Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance - Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift - 3+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience - 3+ years of avionics and/or electrical experience 3 years’ experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active Security Clearance FAA Airframe & Powerplant license. Familiar with Boeing Production System Airline / MRO / Overhaul experience Experience with computing & operating systems Experience with AFTO 781 forms and IMDS Experience as a Flight Line Expeditor or Pro Super Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. ### Additional Information This position requires travel up to 10% of the time Shift: The candidate must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift Relocation: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
