[Apply on Boeing’s careers site →](https://boeing.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/External_Careers/job/USA---Heath-OH/Product-Modification-Repair-Technician_JR2026526890-2) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Boeing](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/boeing/) / Product Modification/Repair Technician ## Job description ### Product Modification/Repair Technician Company The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is seeking an Product Modification/Repair Technician to join our Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) team in Heath, OH. ### Position Responsibilities - Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes - Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components - Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications - Assists with and performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations - Works under supervision Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): This position requires an active U.S. Confidential Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School Diploma or ### General Education Diploma (GED) - 1+ years of experience working with tools and following work instructions - Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications Willingness to work with Beryllium and/or other chemical elements Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Experience in the inspection of parts, components, assemblies or units - 1+ years experience soldering and assembly of equipment components 1+ more years experience using handheld tools and/or power tools - Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications 1+ more years working under a microscope Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. ### Shift This role is primarily second shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives. ### Drug Free Workplace Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. ### Pay & Benefits At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
