We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Director, Engineering and is based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week. ### Core Technical Skills Advanced CAD proficiency: Mastery of CAD software SolidWorks 2D & 3D modeling: Ability to create detailed, accurate technical drawings and models for engineering projects. ### Industry standards & codes Knowledge of engineering, or manufacturing standards. ### Software tools Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and file management systems (Enterprise PDM) ### Experience & Education Education: Associate’s or technical degree in drafting, engineering or equivalent experience Experience: 5+ years in CAD design or related roles, with specialized experience in the target industry (energy, semiconductor, medical) ### Professional Skills Analytical & problem-solving: Ability to interpret complex specifications and translate them into accurate designs Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Project management: Experience managing design projects from concept to completion, and meeting deadlines Attention to detail: Precision in drafting to ensure compliance with project requirements Bloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
