Perform preventative maintenance on power equipment. Perform general warehouse maintenance duties to maintain a safe and professional work environment both in and outside the warehouse, including assisting with equipment maintenance and minor building and equipment repairs. Possess a level of proficiency in all maintenance required programs including the recycling programs, lock out/tag out procedures and hazardous materials. ### Operate powered equipment including forklift, pallet jack, tugger, clamp attachments and sweeper/scrubber. Read schematics Responsible for minor facility and equipment repairs Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to include nights, weekends, holidays and on-call requests. ### Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED. College coursework, continuing technical education or comparable business experience is a plus. Previous mechanical experience 1 to 2 years. ### Accuracy and attention to detail - Ability to use email, word-processing, spreadsheets, WMS and other applications - Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet the needs of the member to include nights, weekends, and holidays - Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise, dust - Utilize equipment for the job safely and accurately after training (such as computer, handheld tracker, copiers, scanners, printers, radio headsets, etc. ### Environmental Job Conditions Independently lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally Sit, stand, walk bend, squat on a frequent to continual basis in a refrigerated warehouse environment Grasp, reach, push or pull (such as boxes of product, or a hand truck) on a frequent basis Endurance for continuous, fast paced work Fluctuating temperatures within the perishable DC including freezing temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit Able to work while wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the job (such as steel-toed protective footwear, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, insulated clothing, etc) Products may contain food allergens (such as fish, shellfish, peanuts, etc.) In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.
