We recognize unique work and life situations and offer flexibility, ensuring our employees feel engaged and fulfilled in every aspect of life. ### Summary of the Role The position is accountable for timely and accurate direct tax compliance of all the legal Entities of the Lubrizol Group companies in India. Direct tax compliance in India requires filing of tax returns, exhaustive tax audit reports, Transfer pricing compliance (these compliances are required for overseas LZ group companies as well), timely deduction and reporting of withholding taxes and Transfer pricing analysis as well. ### Responsibilities / Accountabilities To handle the activities relating to filing of Income tax Returns, Tax audits, transfer pricing returns and tax/transfer pricing assessments of the Company. To handle tax Returns, tax filing & Transfer pricing & Tax assessment activities of overseas Lubrizol group companies in India. Prepare and timely submit information for submitting to the direct tax authority against assessment/re-assessment notices. To review inter -company transfer price and to escalate and co-ordinate to resolve any issues with the global Transfer Pricing manager. To be able to advice on all the regulatory changes in the Direct tax and international taxation to avoid any tax exposure to the Company. To be able to pro-actively advise to the Accounts payable group regarding any changes in the withholding taxes regulations to avoid any potential tax exposure. To also setup withholding taxes mechanism in SAP. To provide US GAAP tax schedules to US corporate tax department and preparation of Provision for taxation for Local statutory accounts. Independently handle issuance of quarterly withholding tax certificates and quarterly e-filing of withholding tax return. Also handles periodic reconciliation of WHT with customers and 26AS. Follow up with the tax authorities for orders, filing of order giving effect, rectification orders, refunds, etc. To perform foreign remittance related tax compliance. To be able to independently compute the quarterly Advance tax computation. ### Education CA Qualified with 3-6 years of relevant experience. CA Intermediate or MBA (Finance) with 7-10 years of relevant experience. If you’re interested in the position, we encourage you to apply.
