It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities. ### Job Description Job Group/Grade JG1, H0 8 Position Summary: The Fillroom operator will work in a clean room and produce Posiflush syringes by overseeing their machine, doing quality checks, cleaning their area and working together with the team to manufacture quality product at the specified rate. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values. ### Duties/Responsibilities Perform all tasks in assigned operations listed below and operate all respective equipment at a rate equal to or above established standards while maintaining all quality and GMP standards. Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain process quality and productivity. Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers. Assist line technicians with equipment repair or trouble shooting. Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and follow GMP requirements. Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required. Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels. Work as team member to develop optimal task methods. Other duties as required to support the needs of the business Education: High School diploma/GED preferred In lieu of High School diploma/GED, three years manufacturing experience is required Experience: None required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to keep and maintain detailed documentation/communication - Proficient Teamwork – Proficient Organization skills - Basic PCP Level: 3 BD is committed to providing a robust set of value-based programs and resources that are best-in-class, market-competitive and affordable for all associates and their families.
