We have an exciting opportunity for you! Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Fixed Maintenance Technician at our Turquoise Ridge operations. The successful candidate will Perform preventative maintenance and repair of both surface and underground mining equipment such as crushers, conveyors, hoists, etc. At Nevada Gold Mines, our vision is to be the world’s most valued gold mining business by finding, developing, and operating the best assets with the best people. We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities. ### Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repair of both surface and underground mining equipment such as crushers, conveyors, hoists, etc. ### Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Basic knowledge of conveyor systems required - Ability to troubleshoot and complete repair on all pumps required Basic fabrication skills including welding and cutting, brazing, arc welding, and air arc required - Ability to identify parts needed for repairs by make, model, size, and type required Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and the ability to apply those skills to troubleshoot and repair systems preferred Basic knowledge of hoist and shaft maintenance for an underground mine preferred - Ability to read and use precision measuring tools, torque wrenches, and hand tools preferred - Excellent safety and attendance record required - Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job required What We Can Offer: A comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution AND employer match, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!
