## Job description

We are seeking a Senior Vice President, Client Executive to join our Japan Intermediary business. Based in Tokyo, this role is responsible for managing key distributor relationships, generating new business, and growing assets and revenue across a high-value client portfolio. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial instincts, deep market knowledge, and a client-focused approach to deliver investment solutions and strengthen long-term client partnerships.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of major intermediary distributors and institutional clients across Japan. Drive new business development by identifying, originating, and converting sales opportunities across the firm's investment capabilities. Develop strategic relationships with senior decision-makers, influencers, and key stakeholders within client organisations.

Act as a trusted adviser to clients, helping them align investment solutions with their business objectives and distribution strategies. Deliver the full breadth of the firm's capabilities through a consultative, solutions-based sales approach. Lead the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including account planning, prospecting, opportunity management, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations. Partner closely with product, client service, operations, marketing, legal, and compliance teams to ensure a seamless client experience and effective risk management.

Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, conferences, and distributor seminars, including delivering presentations and speaking engagements. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of major intermediary distributors and institutional clients across Japan.
