We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Oracle Database Engineer to join our team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, Lake Mary. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Design and support Oracle databases on Exadata and cloud platforms, including Oracle Database@Azure. Engineer high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery solutions using RAC, Data Guard, and ZDLRA. Implement database security controls including TDE, Oracle Key Vault, auditing, and compliance standards. Automate database provisioning, patching, cloning, refreshes, and operational workflows using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and APIs. Support database migrations, GoldenGate replication, and cloud transformation initiatives. Troubleshoot and optimize performance for mission-critical Oracle databases. Participate in vulnerability remediation, platform upgrades, and technology modernization programs. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred10-12 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. 7+ years of Oracle Database engineering or administration experience. Strong expertise with Oracle Database 19c/26ai, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM. Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata. Experience with TDE, Oracle Key Vault, and database security controls. Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform, Shell). Experience supporting Linux-based database environments. Strong database performance tuning and troubleshooting skills. Experience with Azure, OCI, or hybrid cloud architectures.
