They act as a bridge between various departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration while maintaining high standards of operational excellence. ### Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight Deals with complex external client issues (ongoing client servicing for various projects and product implementations. Communicate needs and issue with internal and external clients Allocate/Coordinate work within a team/project Lead and manage requests received from the client. Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational success. Maintain quality assurance across operational activities. Contributes to the achievement of platform team objectives. Collaborate with department leads, team members and business partners. Foster a supportive and motivated work environment. Assist with training, and performance evaluations for operational staff. Operations Managers are required to make informed, data-driven decisions to benefit the organization and its stakeholders. Team Leadership Budget and Resource Management Plan, allocate, and monitor financial resources for operational needs. Ensure optimal and cost-effective utilization of human and physical resources. Assist Operations Leas with the preparation to manage operational budgets in alignment with company goals. Strategic Planning Collaborate with leadership to set short-term and long-term objectives. Identify opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and scalability. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support growth. Risk Management and Compliance Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organizational guidelines. ### Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. Typically, 4-7 years of experience and 0-1 years of management experience. Experience in an operational area and/or client services is preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and budget planning. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of industry-standard tools and software for operations management. ### Core Competencies Problem Solving An Operations Manager must excel in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions. This includes anticipating challenges and developing proactive strategies. Adaptability Flexibility in responding to changing circumstances and priorities is essential for success in this role. Decision-Making Operations Managers are required to make informed, data-driven decisions to benefit the organization and its stakeholders. Leadership An ability to inspire, guide, and empower teams is crucial, ensuring that all employees work cohesively toward shared goals. Expected Outcomes Increased operational efficiency and reduced overhead costs. Enhanced employee satisfaction and retention rates. Smooth and effective communication between departments.
