## Job description

### Primary missión

The Financial Controlling and Performance Management Intern will be part of the LATAM and Africa + Turkey geographical area, and its missions will be mainly oriented to:
- Preparing work files (Excel, PowerPoint) necessary for closings and continuously striving to automate processes in order to provide more accurate data.
- Review of the control checks in the financial system (Group consolidation tool) and contacting the entities with the aim of correcting the discrepancies.
- Participating in the IFRS closings procedures (monthly, quarterly, preclosings and forecasts) making sure that the figures are correct and submitted by the entities in a timely manner.
- Conducting regular and occasional business analyses.
- Providing assistance to the team members on their daily tasks based upon current needs and preparing ad-hoc reports related to the perimeter.

### Candidate profile

Background and experience:
- Ongoing studies (final semesters)/recent graduate, degree in Finance/Audit & Accounting/ Controlling or similar.
- Previous practical experience in the field is an advantage.

### Technical and professional skills
- Strong analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of the IFRS and accounting mechanisms.
- Fluent in English.
- Basic knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Very good knowledge of Ms Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

### Soft skills and competencies
- Proactive, autonomous, organized, and reliable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity for managing tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in the international and fast-paced environment.
- Initiative and agile spirit.
