Develop and manage underwriting strategies for both renewals and targets within the team, including cross-selling, marketing penetration and specific plans to increase company share. Manage and develop local agency and brokers SME portfolio. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the analysis and evaluation of risk. Communicate with producers to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of documentation issuance. Assist in developing and executing underwriting strategy for LoB. Ready to undertake additional tasks and projects in support of the overall company objectives. Build up culture of teamwork as well as ensure compliance expectations are fully met. Provide training, coaching and development of junior teammates. ### Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor Degree Holder, IIQE Paper I & II, preferably with the completion of CII or ANZII. 10+ years underwriting and risk management experience Good understanding of local insurance markets and legal regulations, and the competitor landscape. Ability to respond to a changing environment with flexibility and innovation. Strong interpersonal, influencing and management skills. Customer-oriented, people-centric and a team player. Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese.
