Create, update, and deactivate item records in the ERP system in accordance with established procedures and governance standards. - Maintain critical item attributes including descriptions, classifications, units of measure, commodity codes, pricing information, sourcing details, inventory settings, and product hierarchies. Enforce data standards, naming conventions, and business rules. - Collaborate with Product Standards and Quality, Engineering, and Suppliers to ensure new item requests follow the appropriate review and approval process, to gather all pertinent item attributes, and to stay abreast of changes. - Monitor item master data quality and perform regular audits to identify inaccuracies, duplicates, or incomplete records to ensure consistency and accuracy of item data across ERP and related business systems. - Maintain documentation of data governance policies and procedures. - Serve as a subject matter expert for item master data processes and system functionality. Investigate and resolve data-related issues impacting business operations. Identify opportunities to streamline item creation and maintenance processes. - Support audits, compliance activities, and reporting requirements. ### MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Educational/Experience Level: 1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Business Administration or a related field and three years related professional experience in item management, master data, product data administration, procurement operations, or a related function. 2. A general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and five years related progressively responsible experience in item management, master data, product data administration, procurement operations, or a related function. ### Communication Skills Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers in order to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information.
