## Job description

### Typical Accountabilities
- Manages teams supporting the oncology brand strategy, ensuring effective collaboration between the Field Medical Liaison Team, internal cross functional teams, and external stakeholders Potentially oversees clinical trials and/or patient safety activities
- Ensures that all work is complaint with AstraZeneca standards and external regulation
- Maintains relationships with healthcare professionals and other external stakeholders to develop a better understanding of their information needs and respond accordingly
- Provides scientific consultancy to support key meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversees and delivers education workshops with the local community and medical groups as required Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in life science, at least
- 5 years pharmaceutical industry working experience in medical affairs function Thorough knowledge and experience within the area of field medical liaisons or advisors
- Ability to manage incoming insights or requests in a timely manner and take action when appropriate Ambitious, collaboration-mindset and demonstrate leadership to influence, good communication skills Experience of managing clinical trials and projects
