As an Automotive Parts Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business and customers every day. Warehouse associates are the backbone of our product supply chain, ensuring that goods make their way to their final destinations. We are looking for strong, energetic, detail-focused Parts Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate who will help us ensure the parts-buying experience is exceptional! Does this sound like you? The role of a Shipping/Receiving Clerk is to act as the principle person in charge of the receipting of inventory as it is received from dealerships, and or, outside vendors. - Receipt and stock in all parts orders - Inspect shipments and receipt for quantity and damage if applicable - Maintain physical inventory by keeping stock in correct locations, sealable condition and free of safety hazards - Maintain all parts shelves are stocked using the space available in an efficient manner - Maintain warranty claims in accordance with dealership guidelines - Notify the parts manager of any parts that are received damaged or missing - Maintain a special order file and ensures that all customers are notified of the receipt of their parts. - Notify the appropriate service manager when the special order parts that were ordered have been received - Must be able to lift, bend and carry parts and accessories that weigh upwards of 75 pounds - Must be able to follow instructions while working safely and efficiently in a fast paced environment - Strong attention to detail is required - Must be at least eighteen years of age - Must have a valid driver’s license - Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test) ### Company Benefits Pay and Recognition: - Weekly pay - Paid holidays & paid time off - Paid training - Stock Awards(select management and front-line team member’s eligible) ### Insurance - medical, vision, dental, accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity plans - Up to 12 weeks paid pregnancy leave (disability leave) - Paid Parental Leave - Health savings - Flex spending accounts (tax free) - Short-term and Long-term disability plans - Life Insurance (Whole Life and Term) - 401k with company match Learning, Tuition Assistance and Career Development: - Digital career path tool to assist with career development - Continuous training through Asbury's Internal Learning Management System Professional growth and development opportunities Additional advantages: - Student loan relief resources - Employee assistance program - Employee discounts on parts and service repairs - Scholarship awards - Opportunities to join our community service initiatives, which includes paid volunteer hours - Aggressive Employee referral program with bonus opportunities Asbury Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
