You will challenge and support commercial stakeholders, helping optimize investments, improve profitability, and ensure financial objectives are achieved through effective planning, forecasting, and performance management. ### Responsibilities Partner closely with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to provide financial analysis and actionable insights that support the achievement of business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to commercial stakeholders, bringing financial perspective and business context into decision-making processes. Develop and implement financial evaluation methodologies to assess business proposals and measure their impact on company performance. Lead pre- and post-investment evaluations for Sales and Route-to-Market (RTM) initiatives, including monitoring commercial investments and validating proof of service delivery. Manage and control commercial-related budgets, including discounts, trade investments, and sales fixed costs. Analyze actual financial performance, identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders. Monitor commercial trends and market performance, translating data into meaningful insights for leadership and decision-making forums. Lead the financial planning and forecasting process for Sales functions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and timelines. Support monthly performance reviews and Flash reporting processes, providing accurate analysis and identifying emerging risks and opportunities. Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales leadership and key stakeholders to drive transparent and effective business discussions. Ensure adherence to financial governance, accounting standards, policies, and internal controls. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, streamline processes, and promote best practices across Finance and Commercial teams. ### Requirements Must have: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Financial Controlling, Business Partnering, or a similar finance role. Previous experience within the FMCG industry. Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management skills. Ability to translate complex financial data into business insights and recommendations. Experience partnering with senior commercial stakeholders and influencing decision-making. Strong understanding of sales drivers, customer profitability, trade investments, and commercial performance metrics. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling capabilities. Business fluency in Romanian and English Nice to Have: Experience within an international or multinational FMCG organization. Exposure to Sales, Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, or Route-to-Market functions. Experience evaluating promotional effectiveness and commercial investment ROI. Knowledge of financial governance, compliance, and internal control frameworks. Experience supporting large-scale budgeting and strategic planning processes. Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving process optimization initiatives. Strong presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge stakeholders constructively.
