This role will provide technical support and leadership for various project initiatives and process improvements within ADM Wild Flavors Business Unit. ### Primary Job Functions - Contribute to cross-functional organization of new product launches, validation projects, and formula transfers - Develop a thorough understanding of product lifecycle steps - Evaluate existing processes using scientific principles to facilitate improvement while ensuring alignment to QFS principles - Execute and document process studies in an active manufacturing environment. - Actively contributes to plant efforts to support operations through critical process thinking and continuous improvement initiatives. - Coordinate with regional and plant quality leaders, operation leaders, and supply chain leaders in all aspects of service and product complaint management - Investigate manufacturing failures for true root cause and advise on potential mitigations. - Remain current with industry trends, technology, and best practices as applicable. ### Requirements - Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, food science, or related field or equivalent 5 yrs experience in a Food Manufacturing environment - Familiarity with Design of Experiments principles - Ability to decipher, aggregate, and organize data, while ensuring attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision: effectively plan, organize and execute own activities. - Willing and able to spend time in plant as needed to understand manufacturing processes, execute studies and conduct verification activities. ### Key Skills & Competencies - Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills - Problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Analytical aptitude - Willingness to innovate and adapt best practices. - Ability to encourage cross-functional collaborations and work processes ### Working Conditions - Employees in this position working at this location are [or may be] exposed to various potential chemical and food allergens due to the nature of our business and the requirements of the job. - If there is any reason such exposure would interfere with your ability to perform this role or work at the location, please notify the hiring manager.
