Operators must also have additional knowledge of the plant flow in order to make swift changes for production rate maximization. ### Essential Job Functions - Conducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work record. - Maintains a good attendance record - Work rotating shifts of various lengths including weekends and holidays - Maintains good communication with all plant personnel. (Other shifts, departments and managers) - Maintain sorting equipment to ensure quality acceptable quality performance - Maintain production rates - Ability to understand and perform assigned job tasks easily and independently while flexible enough to work in team settings. - Maintains good housekeeping and completes sanitation duties and paperwork as required. - Conducts daily inspections, reporting any problems noted. - Continuously monitors and cleans equipment for optimal performance and quality - Review production records and labeling for accuracy - Perform quality checks as required - May perform other duties as assigned. ### Experience - Excellent Attendance and punctuality - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - 3+ years of factory machine operation experience - (not meaning equipment like forklift) - Positive attitude with a team mindset and drive to excel and advance - Solid Housekeeping and sanitation habits. ### Working Conditions - Ambient conditions – Hot or cold Temperatures ### Time Spent - Inside and Outside ### Humidity - 50% - 90% ### Atmosphere - Dust (Peanut - known allergen) and odor, Dirty environments ### Protective clothing required - Uniforms, hardhats, earplugs, safety glasses, hair restraints, steel-toed shoes, gloves and safety harness may be required based on task performed - Job specific PPE - Work overtime as needed ### Physical Requirements - Occasionally move objects that weigh up to 55 LBS - Must be able to sit or stand for prolong periods of time - Move from area to area - Transport Material - Position self to conduct work at various heights - Rotate body - Crouch, squat and bend - Ascend / descend from various levels (climb ladders and stairs) - Repetitive use of hands - Use broom, shovel and others tools to complete assignments *Steel toe ankle height boots required by first day of employment. *Please include any relevant work history with the dates of employment and/or an updated resume to be considered.
