Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00AM to 4:30PM, with an unpaid lunch. Duties of a Maintenance Mechanic are to maintain all equipment to required standards, provide support for preventive and failure based maintenance. Must be willing to take after hours call-ins on evenings and weekends and respond to facility as needed. We care about our people. This includes, but is not limited to: conveying systems (elevators, augers vibration equipment), gearboxes, power transmission. - Both oral and detailed written are needed to be effective in this position. Must be able to utilize independent judgment to solve problems, have excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple ongoing tasks and strive for continuous improvement - Proven experience with High-speed production - Detail oriented with good verbal and written skill - Must have good attention to detail troubleshooting skills - Must be familiar with standardized industrial procedures, practices and concepts - Strong written communication and interpersonal skills - Related Industry Knowledge ### Education or Work Experience - The candidate must have a high degree of mechanical competence. - At least Five (5) years of experience. ### Additional Information - History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts - The candidate must be willing to work overtime, call-ins, weekends and holiday - The candidate must have regular, prompt attendance, have the ability to climb stairs, lift 55 pounds, sit and stand for long periods, be able to work in confined spaces, work with heights, bending and kneeling. The candidate must be able to work in a plant environment in a variety of environmental conditions including inside and outside, hot and cold temperatures and dusty environments - Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
