The position involves the collection and distribution of samples, conducting physical and chemical tests, calibrating lab instruments, and maintaining a clean and efficient lab environment. A focus on safety, teamwork, and compliance with established guidelines is essential. ### Key Responsibilities - Prepare and analyze samples, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results to operations personnel. - Calibrate and maintain standard lab instruments to ensure precise measurements. - Verify and maintain sufficient inventory of laboratory supplies and materials. - Ensure that the laboratory is clean, organized, and adheres to safety and environmental standards. - Actively participate in safety programs, adhere to all safety guidelines, and assist in ensuring a safe working environment. - Demonstrate a willingness to learn and operate all laboratory equipment and systems as needed. - Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP’s, and company standards. - Effectively communicate test results and findings to operational teams and assist in troubleshooting production processes. - Work collaboratively with team members while also being able to work independently to perform sampling, testing, and data analysis. - Perform any other duties or tasks as directed by the supervisor, maintaining flexibility and adaptability. ### Education and Experience - High School Diploma or equivalent required. An Associate’s degree in Applied Science or related field is preferred. - Prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not required. ### Skills and Qualifications - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) is preferred. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods. - Basic understanding of chemistry, mathematics, and lab equipment operation. Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and follow instructions. - Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to chemicals and potential allergens.
