## Job description

Part Time Scale Clerk - Fowler, IN

This is a Part-Time Hourly level position.

Shift – Varies on days – 7:30AM – 4:00PM

### Position Summary

ADM is seeking a reliable, safety-minded worker to join our grain operations team in Swanington, IN. This position will assist in the daily functioning of the grain elevator by operating the scale house during business hours. The scale operator ensures the safe and efficient operations of weighing, grading, and data entry of inbound grain trucks. This is an office-type, controlled environment role.

### Job Responsibilities
- Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Operate a computer to perform data entry
- Operate a joystick to take grain samples from inbound trucks
- Operate radios to communicate with truck drivers and grain elevator operators
- Operate grain grading equipment
- Answer phones and messages to make account changes

### Requirements
- Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero-injury safety culture
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Strong attendance record and dependable work ethic
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exhibit a professional image and maintain a positive and respectful attitude
- Basic computer/technical skills

### Physical Requirements
- Ability to work for prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
