## Job description

Join Our Team as a Commis Chef at Chessington World of Adventures! Aramark Northern Europe is offering an exciting opportunity for a Commis Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team at one of the UK's most populat theme parks. This role is perfect for someone passionate about food, eager to learn, and excited to grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

### About the Role

As a Commis Chef, you'll work across our a la carte restaurant, world buffet, and special events including corporate functions and gala dinners - giving you the chance to showcase your culinary skills and creativity. Our kitchens are constantly evolving, and our Commis Chefs play a vital role in driving innovation and maintaining the high standards our guests expect. We are proud of our career development pathway, supporting Commis Chefs who want to progress into more senior roles.

### What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and cook high-quality food for hotel guests and special events
- Develop full knowledge of all menu items and ingredients
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage food production and reduce waste
- Ensure consistent food quality and maintain brand standards
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Complete opening and closing shift checklists Undertake training and learn kitchen procedures and standards What We're Looking For: Awareness of food hygiene and safety standards A desire to learn and grow as a chef Some kitchen experience and basic culinary skills Team player with excellent communication skills Energetic, positive, and proactive attitude
