This role leads a unionized custodial team, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility while meeting company standards, customer expectations, and labor agreement requirements. ### Job Responsibilities - Supervise and support a team of union custodial employees across multiple shifts. - Manage daily cleaning operations, work assignments, attendance, and performance. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA requirements, and company policies. - Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness and facility appearance standards. - Coordinate staffing, schedules, and workload distribution to meet operational needs. - Maintain effective working relationships with union representatives and employees. - Train, coach, and develop team members while promoting a positive and inclusive work environment. - Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper use of custodial equipment and supplies. - Investigate and resolve employee, safety, and operational issues in a timely manner. - Support continuous improvement initiatives and customer service objectives. ### Qualifications - Previous supervisory experience in custodial, facilities, janitorial, manufacturing, or industrial environments. - Experience working within a unionized workforce; familiarity with collective bargaining agreements preferred. - Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.Knowledge of OSHA, workplace safety, and custodial best practices. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic reporting systems. ### Education About Aramark Our Mission Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
