## Job description
- This is a Disability Hiring position. Candidates will be required to provide a Certificate of Disability during the interview process.
- This is a fixed-term contractor position. The New Accounts team plays a critical role in acquiring high-quality Card Members while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

The team is responsible for supporting the end-to-end card application process, including document handling, data management, and operational support, to ensure accurate and timely card issuance and an excellent customer experience.

## Responsibilities

Administrative and operational support for the New Accounts Process: Opening, sorting, and processing incoming application documents Scanning, indexing, and maintaining application records and related documents Data entry and verification of applicant information Preparation and management of mailing and card delivery-related requests Coordination with internal departments and external vendors regarding application processing Responding to inquiries related to the New Accounts Process Maintaining and managing original application documents Other ad-hoc administrative and operational support tasks

## Qualifications

Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) (Excel skills such as Pivot Tables, Access, functions, and data management experience are preferred) Business-level typing speed
- Strong communication skills Accuracy in processing tasks while adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies Team player
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability to see tasks through to completion
- Ability to adapt to changes in procedures and operational rules
- Ability to analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, and solve problems Native Level of Japanese language Employment eligibility to work with American Express in Japan is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
