Develop knowledge of applicable standards, codes, regulations, equipment, materials, systems, and business processes. ### Leadership & Collaboration Work effectively with team members and higher-level engineers, coordinate routine activities as needed, and demonstrate a willingness to take on increased responsibility and leadership opportunities. ### Planning & Organization Support project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, and status monitoring. Use established engineering and scheduling methods to complete assignments according to project plans and timelines. ### Problem Solving Gather and analyze information to address routine technical issues. Apply sound engineering principles and identify opportunities for new or improved approaches. ### Communication Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Assist with technical reports and documentation, follow instructions, and seek clarification when needed. ### Interpersonal Skills Build effective working relationships, collaborate across teams, share information, and contribute to a positive team environment. ### Decision Making Make routine decisions within established guidelines and contribute to team decisions with guidance from more experienced employees. ### Business Awareness Develop an understanding of department responsibilities and customer needs. Consider cost, reliability, and environmental impacts when supporting engineering solutions. ### What We Are Looking For This is an entry level position for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*; Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged and preferred.
