Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly motivated Associate Solutions Architect to help accelerate customer adoption within the AWS Europe Central organization where you will be working with Enterprise customers in Romania across all industries and tech domains. As an Associate Solutions Architect at AWS, you’ll build technical relationships with customers and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey. You will be working alongside a Senior Solutions Architect, allowing you to understand the role, daily activities, and get experience from tenured Amazonians. You’ll manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency to accelerate their projects. Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features. In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to implement or document cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases. You will work to understand the customer's needs and give prescriptive guidance on how to create business value with technology. Solution Architects lead activities such as architecture reviews, whiteboarding sessions, demos and technical workshops. They collaborate with other teams such as account management, professional services, support, product teams and the partner ecosystem. You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences). If you can educate AWS customers about the art of the possible, while challenging the impossible, come build the future with us. The Solution Architecture team is a diverse group of technologists from a variety of backgrounds. Practical knowledge of the platform is desired but not required, provided you have a sound technical foundation and a desire to learn. AWS Global Sales (AGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services. ### Key job responsibilities - Partner with the sales team to formulate and execute a technical account strategy, driving revenue growth through customer adoption of AWS - Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS through architectural discussions, workshops, training sessions, and demos to ensure solutions are designed for successful cloud deployment - Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers, acting as a technical liaison between customers and AWS product teams - Capture, create, and share best practices, technical content, and reference architectures (such as whitepapers, code samples, and blog posts) within the AWS community - Support the building and migration of customer applications, software, and services on the AWS platform, contributing to customer-facing publications and evangelizing AWS technology ### A day in the life - Collaborate with a Senior Solutions Architect to support Enterprise customers in Romania across Banking, Energy, and Retail sectors - Engage in technical discovery conversations with customers, helping them understand how AWS services can address their business challenges - Prepare and deliver architecture reviews, whiteboarding sessions, and hands-on workshops tailored to customer needs - Continuously develop your cloud expertise through mentorship, training, and real-world customer engagements About the team ### Diverse Experiences Amazon values diverse experiences.
