Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Amazon Leo is seeking a Manufacturing Tooling & Test Equipment Design Engineer to design, develop, and deploy manufacturing tools, test fixtures, and specialized equipment supporting the development, qualification, and production of satellite battery systems and electronic assemblies. This role owns the end-to-end development of mechanical tooling and test equipment for PCBA, battery pack, and component-level assembly and testing. The engineer will translate engineering and manufacturing requirements into robust, repeatable, and scalable solutions that improve production throughput, quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
