Do you thrive at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic industry knowledge? AWS Professional Services is seeking a Sr. Cloud Architect to join our team in UK. In this role, you will work directly with customers across Financial Services (FS) to design and implement transformative cloud solutions on AWS. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, leading complex cloud architecture engagements from strategy through delivery, while mentoring teams and shaping best practices across the region. ### Key job responsibilities - Lead the design and implementation of complex, enterprise-scale cloud architectures for customers in FS industry - Serve as a trusted technical advisor to C-level executives and senior technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable cloud solutions - Drive cloud adoption strategies including migration, modernization, data analytics, AI/ML, and hybrid architectures tailored to industry-specific needs - Develop and deliver technical architectures, reference implementations, and proof-of-concepts that accelerate customer outcomes - Mentor and guide junior architects, contributing to team development and raising the technical bar across engagements - Collaborate with AWS service teams to influence product roadmaps based on customer feedback and industry trends - Contribute to reusable assets, frameworks, and methodologies that scale ProServe's impact across the region - Navigate regulatory, compliance, and data sovereignty requirements specific to financial services landscape ### About the team At AWS ProServe, you won't just build architectures — you'll shape the cloud journeys of most innovative companies in financial services.
