For this, we are looking for managers from Production, Logistics, Operations, or comparable fields as Operations Managers. If you are relocating for the position and your home address is at least 80 km from the site, we will support you with a relocation package. Operations is the beating heart of Amazon. This key part of our business makes sure we fulfil and dispatch orders efficiently so that our customers get their items on time. It’s driven by Operations Managers who bring the team together to push excellence in safety, quality and productivity across our sites. This role is all about driving operational excellence to create the Amazon of tomorrow. ### What we offer - A permanent contract directly with Amazon - An attractive compensation package including Restricted Stock Units (through Amazon.com, Inc.) - Relocation package if your home is at least 80 km from the site - Free life and disability insurance and support with company pension plans - Employee discounts on amazon.de as well as Amazon Extras (e.g., discounts on travel, restaurants, entertainment, electronics, home, etc.) - Commuter benefits: Free parking or coverage of the Deutschlandticket (Germany-wide public transport pass) - Family bonus (one-time payment for parents on parental leave) - Referral services for childcare, eldercare, and care for people with special needs - A free Employee Assistance Program (also for family members) for counseling on professional or personal matters - Excellent development opportunities in a global company ### Key job responsibilities - Manage and develop a team of Area Managers - Lead operational teams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performance - Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence - Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security - Design and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance ### A day in the life You’ll lead shifts at one of our operational sites. You’ll also be the key link between a number of teams, including finance, safety and operations integration teams. That means you’ll be close to the day-to-day operations at your site but also contribute to new ways to innovate at your site. ### About the team Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers’ delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now and Amazon Restaurants. There are two sides to what we do. Our ‘under the roof’ associates process millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams. Our team is people-focused and supportive, particularly as lots of our people work through the night. We focus mostly on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations. Meanwhile, our ‘on the road’ people work with Amazon Flex - a network of delivery contractors. Every year, we continually raise the bar for customer experience with new, innovative delivery services. We look for new ways to overcome industry wide logistics challenges and new ideas to reduce our carbon footprint, supported by a portfolio of cutting-edge vehicles (including Electric Vehicles) and technology to help us do just that. ## At a glance - Posted by the employer: May 15, 2026 - First seen by OpenNash: Oct 11, 2026 - Last checked: Oct 18, 2026 - Listed for: 156 days - Location: DE, Ettenheim[Apply on Amazon’s careers site →](https://www.amazon.jobs/en/jobs/10421010/operations-manager-logistikleiter-m-w-d-ettenheim) ## More jobs at Amazon ### [2027 Area Manager Intern, Amazon Operations](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/amazon/jobs/3201fb0b229a8bef6c18/) EG, Cairo ### [2027 Area Manager Intern, Amazon Operations](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/amazon/jobs/fc462759937d3d802467/) SA, Dammam ### [2027 Area Manager Intern, Amazon Operations](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/amazon/jobs/6f427d68a7f59d9707d2/) SA, Jeddah ### [2027 Area Manager Intern, Amazon Operations](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/amazon/jobs/c0f3dc445358b0d2b979/) SA, Riyadh ### [2027 Operations Intern, FC Operations](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/amazon/jobs/2e241374ed39a7ce4f4c/) AE, Dubai ## Similar jobs at other companies ### [Manger Settlement Card Operations.Card Operations - MBP.Operations Group-MBPKLTD](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/mashreq-bank/jobs/e57b00e016d01767aac7/) Mashreq Bank · Pakistan ### [RO:Bharat Banking Operations-Area Operations Manager](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/axis-bank/jobs/64374bf416a7e766df41/) Axis Bank · Ellenabad ### [RO:Bharat Banking Operations-Area Operations Officer](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/axis-bank/jobs/dc50dbf797ab48c2a238/) Axis Bank · Agra ### [Production Operations Manager - AIR6500 Production Operations](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/lockheed-martin/jobs/b5913660e91d65f26ee3/) Lockheed Martin · Mawson Lakes, AUS ### [Sales Operations Manager – Partner Program & Operations, Asia Pacific Zone](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/siemens/jobs/be38c53fc65993f0d755/) Siemens OpenNash lists jobs from employers’ own careers sites and does not handle applications.
