Additional responsibilities include managing and leading a team of Area Managers, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center. ### Key job responsibilities Ensure a safe work environment for all associates and team Lead and supervise a team of Area Manager's, TL's as Direct reportees supported by PAs and Associates in Operations Responsible for the overall Safety, Quality, Productivity and Performance Delivery of concerned department operations Strategic planning and forecasting; appraise performance; resolve problems; and address staffing needs Review the work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to produce/deliver during the day to meet the overall building objectives. ### Ensure BM rates and OP2 throughput deliverables Interfacing well with other OM's. Taking up cross functional projects by the adoption of best practices ### Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives Learn and understand the system interventions for order processing. Apprise teams down the line of new process implementation and control measures required. Lead ART events from capacity planning perspective and prepare Man, Material, and Machine Carryout machine (resources) planning periodically and remove/reduce capacity constraints if any in coordination with Resource planning and Finance teams. Ensure best practices in people management and accountable for FC's compliance, Connections and scorecards. ### Manage People and team development Understand Flex levers, take up new Amazon technicalities associated with the role's requirements and Amazon ERP systems. Create leaders and talent pipeline.
