## Job description

Alexa-for-Shopping team located in Bangalore is looking for an Software Development Engineer to deliver strategic goals for Shopping suite of products. This is an opportunity to join our mission to build tech solutions that delight Shopping customers. You will be responsible for building new system capabilities grounds up for strategic business initiatives. If you feel excited by the challenge of setting the course for large company wide initiatives and building and launching customer facing products, this may be the next big career move for you.

We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented Software Engineers who have experience building innovative, mission critical, high volume applications. You will have an enormous opportunity to make a large impact on the design and architecture of products used every day, by people you know. Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software, establish design principles, select design patterns and mentor junior team members

### Key job responsibilities

As a Software Development Engineer II, you will design, manage and own technologies in Alexa Shopping programs space and. you will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define new product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.
