This role will serve as product counsel for strategic initiatives related to Amazon Leo’s products and services. You will be responsible for counseling Amazon Leo’s product, marketing, engineering, compliance, and operations teams on a wide range of issues across our business. You will work directly with the business to handle legal issues in business-centric ways and develop processes that address risk while allowing the business flexibility and freedom to quickly develop products and services that prioritize and delight our customers. ### Export Control Requirement Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. ### Key job responsibilities - Provide comprehensive legal counsel for strategic initiatives - Develop flexible legal frameworks that balance risk management with business innovation - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support Amazon Leo’s expansion goals - Create processes that enable swift product development while maintaining regulatory compliance - Support strategic initiatives with nuanced legal guidance ### A day in the life Your day will be dynamic and impactful, with collaboration across multiple teams to navigate complex legal landscapes. You’ll engage with product, marketing, engineering, and operations teams, translating intricate legal requirements into actionable strategies that accelerate our mission of global connectivity. ### About the team Amazon Leo’s legal team is a collaborative group of commercial and technology attorneys supporting the development and expansion of next-generation satellite connectivity solutions.
