We're looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to lead the development of innovative solutions in brand measurement—helping advertisers measure, analyze, and optimize their brand-building campaigns across Amazon Ads. Our team delivers performance reporting and AI-driven insights that empower global advertisers to connect media investments with real customer outcomes. You'll build the systems that turn massive-scale data into clarity—giving marketers the confidence to invest boldly and grow their brands. If you're passionate about data-driven decision-making and want to build solutions that influence how millions of customers discover brands every day, this is your opportunity. ### Key job responsibilities - Design and architect scalable, high-performance software systems that leverage advanced generative AI technologies - Develop and productionalize innovative machine learning algorithms to optimize advertising performance and customer insights - Collaborate with product managers, scientists, and design teams to create seamless, intelligent advertising experiences - Lead technical design reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineering team members - Drive strategic technical decisions that shape the future of AI-powered advertising platforms ### A day in the life Your day will be filled with collaborative problem-solving, where you'll design and implement sophisticated data and AI-driven systems that enhance advertising technologies. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, prototype innovative solutions, and tackle complex technical challenges that push the boundaries of measurement in advertising. ### About the team As part of the Brand Measurement team, you will define the technical strategy, roadmap, and delivery of solutions designed to help advertisers maximize their brand-building efforts. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to build robust, data-driven reporting products. You will help advertisers understand the effectiveness of their campaigns, identify optimization opportunities, and drive tangible business outcomes.
