## Job description

Do you want to join a fast-paced Global Procurement Organisation (GPO) team focused on Amazon

Operations? By joining the OPEX Procurement Team as an ATS Procurement Manager, you will manage

centrally driven projects, UK-wide initiatives, and senior stakeholder relationships across Amazon

Transportation Services, while also acting as the site procurement manager for a portfolio of Sort

Centers and Delivery Stations in the South-west England and Wales region.

As a Procurement Manager, you will work in a cross-functional team environment with internal

Amazon stakeholders, diverse procurement peers and external vendors to procure value-adding

solutions for the business. You will drive continuous improvement, innovation, legal and supply risk

prevention and sustainability through your procurement ownership across the following sites:

- DBS2/HBS2 – Delivery Station/AMXL (Bristol)

- DBS4 – Delivery Station (Severnside)

- DCF1 – Delivery Station (Newport)

- DCF2 – Delivery Station (Cardiff)

- DSA1 – Delivery Station (Port Talbot)

In addition to site-level procurement management, you will support the wider ATS and MOD UKI

network through centrally driven projects, lead business QBRs and build relationships with senior

stakeholders across the region.

### Key job responsibilities

- Understand business needs across assigned sites, ensuring requirements are justified through analysis and recommendations. Manage procurement projects with varying complexity, spend levels, and time constraints across multiple site types (SC, DS, AMXL);

- Build effective stakeholder relationships across site operations, ensuring a high service level in terms of scope analysis, vendor negotiation on cost, lead times, and other key elements for local and regional projects;

- Utilise various applications and systems (Coupa, QuickSight) to provide accurate metrics, reporting and data including supplier performance metrics. Use available tools to analyse opportunities and risks on spend, categories, vendors, and legal aspects;

- Lead the OPEX Procurement process end-to-end: from needs detection and definition, through sourcing, supplier due diligence, negotiation, risk assessment, to contracting and implementation follow-up using Coupa (ERP) and other tools. Deliver RFI and RFQ processes across assigned sites;

- Create and execute contractual agreements such as Work Orders and Master Supply Agreements, driving contract compliance from vendors. Support contract lifecycle management (CLM) activities;

- Execute and support UK-wide ATS and MOD procurement projects and initiatives (tenders, cost optimisation, sustainability, process improvements), collaborating with Category teams and partnering with Finance;

- Manage supplier performance governance to ensure high service levels in terms of lead time, quality, and maintenance. Support MBR/QBR delivery as agreed with Supplier Management and Category pillars. Ensure invoicing and payment processes run correctly, taking corrective and preventive measures where needed;

- Act as a developing Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned categories to identify savings opportunities, perform spend analysis, and support strategy definition for the ATS UKI network;

- Meet targeted Key Performance Indicators including savings, financial metrics, sustainability targets, and compliance;

- Ensure full compliance with the company Spending & Transaction policy, educating and driving correct behaviours among business stakeholders. Support QBR delivery with internal and external stakeholders (GM, Change, RME, Vendors);

- Support centrally driven ATS and MOD projects and UK-wide initiatives, coordinating with the wider OPEX Procurement team and senior stakeholders across the network.

### About the team

Operations sits at the heart of the Amazon customer experience. We look after everything from the moment a customer clicks buy, to the moment their item is delivered – from desktop to doorstep. Across Europe we have more than 50 fulfilment centres, hundreds of delivery stations, thousands of machines, and tens of thousands of employees, all working together in harmony to make sure the right item gets delivered to the right person, in the right place, at the right time.

The OPEX Procurement works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to provide procurement support and solutions. This pillar sits at the heart of site operations and works with local stakeholders to deliver procurement solutions to complex on-site projects. The AMZL UKI Specialist role bridges site-level procurement delivery with network-wide strategic initiatives across Amazon Transportation Services.

Please note this is a site-based role, with site location being flexible provided it is situated within the South-west England region. Exact site location will be decided between the successful candidate and line manager.
