## Job description

Amazon LEO is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

### Export Control Requirement

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Amazon LEO's Payload Processing Facility (PPF) is seeking an experienced logistics professional to assist with every day activities listed below in both Florida as well as in French Guiana. This role is expected to travel up to 25% of the time internationally. Successful candidates must also be able to pass the federal security checks to receive an access badge to Kennedy Space Center.

-Accurately track and account for all inventory located at the PPF warehouse to include cycle counts

-Efficiently deliver material to PPF stakeholders, both physically and virtually

-Coordinate trailer or container movements within the PPF Yard

-Meet operational metrics related to warehouse receiving and inventory activities

-Effectively communicate high priority matters with Transportation leadership

-Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand cart

-Role requires up to 25% travel

### A day in the life

You will start your morning reviewing supplier dashboards and open purchase orders, flagging any delivery risks that need immediate attention. From there, you might join a cross-functional meeting to discuss upcoming hardware builds and align on material requirements. In the afternoon, you could be comparing quotes from multiple vendors, preparing a cost analysis for your manager, or updating Standard Operating Procedures.

You will lead a team of qualified logistics employees across inventory reconciliation and receiving. You will regularly connect with peers to share insights and troubleshoot supply challenges together.

### About the team

Our team is focused on ensuring Amazon's hardware programs have the components and materials they need, when they need them. We partner closely with engineering, planning, and finance teams to deliver logistics solutions that balance cost, quality, and speed. We value collaboration, continuous learning, and a commitment to improving how we work. If you are looking for a role where you can build foundational procurement skills while contributing to meaningful outcomes at scale, we would love to hear from you.
