This role exists because a high % of shrink in Amazon's grocery business comes from produce — driven by case-pack minimums and multi-day dwell times which degrade quality. We aim to develop a cross-dock-first model with higher vendor delivery frequency and same-day ship to help improve our perishable supply chain.
