## Job description

Amazon Freight is building an innovative transportation network with the vision of redefining shipping for its customers. As our Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and Truckload (TL) business continues to grow, booking and execution efficiency is a critical capability that enables us to deliver competitive service offering while optimizing network utilization, carrier performance, and long-term profitability.

This position requires strong business judgment, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, is comfortable making data-driven decisions in ambiguous environments, and has experience translating complex transportation economics into scalable network execution strategies. If you are passionate about solving complex transportation problems, influencing cross-functional partners, and building innovative supply chain capabilities that create value for customers while driving sustainable business growth, we'd love to speak with you.

### Key job responsibilities

We are building world class technology cutting across deep algorithmic problems, brand new tools that cater to freight execution use-cases and emerging network scenarios; and challenging data models that are evolving very quickly.

In this role, you will partner with business and technical teams to design and document requirements, and develop technical strategies and software roadmaps for delivery of features. You will be leading a passionate group of engineers in architecting and developing large scale distributed technology solutions and also innovating new ideas and providing technology directions to our business.

You'll balance immediate deliverables with planning for longer-term architectural improvements, all while leading your team through development cycles measured in weeks, not years. You'll spend time mentoring engineers, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring your team has what they need to deliver exceptional results.
