Our team is at the forefront of large-scale data management, actively contributing to the Apache Iceberg project and helping shape the future of open table formats. We're focused on making data ingestion patterns from any source system reliable, cost-effective, and easy to implement while maintaining compatibility with popular analytics engines and ensuring optimal query performance through intelligent partitioning and indexing strategies. Utility Computing (UC) AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services ### Key job responsibilities - Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market. - Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry. - Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility. - Define engineering roadmap and drive architectural simplification to ensure systems are built for Durability, Availability and Maintainability - Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software. - Create and nurture a team culture that allows individuals to perform at their best, while solving complex problems and delivering solutions that delight our customers. ### About the team AWS values diverse experiences.
