## Job description

The Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) Central Selection team is responsible for governing selection strategy and execution across Amazon's grocery portfolio. We operate at the intersection of category management, operations, and technology, building the mechanisms and guardrails that ensure each banner delivers a differentiated and complementary customer experience. Our work directly impacts millions of grocery customers and shapes how Amazon's grocery banners coexist and grow together.

The Sr. PM will own the strategy and framework to enable improved, more automated selection decisions, including regional/local selection. This role works closely with Category, Product, Tech, and BI Teams to deliver effective tools, drive improvements, discover opportunities and present recommendations to business partners and management. This role combines strategic thinking with analytical rigor to create and implement location-specific selection frameworks that optimize both customer experience and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong business sense combined with a solid understanding of technical concepts. You can operate independently, think strategically, analyze data, influence others, and provide strong customer service support. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, analytical talent, and exceptional communications are essential to success in this role.

### Key job responsibilities

This creates scale benefit and allows business teams to focus on strategic inputs rather than executional tasks, and prevents tech teams from receiving disparate, sometimes competing, development requests.
- Maintain customer obsession through standardized, mission-based selection logic that ensures every banner carries the right products for the right missions, localized to customer demand and regional preferences.
- Create SOP and mechanisms to track, manage, and optimize regional-specific selection
