## Job description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the market leader in cloud infrastructure and services, supporting hundreds of thousands of customers of all sizes.

In AWS Finance, you will work with exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people who believe financial partnership is critical to customer success. We benefit from diverse experiences and perspectives and are committed to inclusion as a business advantage and the right thing to do. The growth of AWS and scope of Amazon's business create opportunities to grow your career and broaden experience in any direction you choose.

As a pioneer in cloud services, AWS lets you apply data, creativity, and analytical ability to completely new challenges and opportunities. This is a chance to work hard, have fun, and make history.

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the Supply Chain Finance team. You should be passionate about producing financial analysis enabling management to make breakthrough decisions, drive cash flow, and ultimately delight our customers. This role will own the quarterly rate card mechanism for AWS server and networking hardware and drive strategic financial initiatives across the supply chain organization. You should be comfortable with working with ambiguity, diving deep into detail, and be able to communicate the story behind the numbers effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences.

### Key job responsibilities

- Own and execute the quarterly rate card process, forecasting the cost of server and networking hardware products across hundreds of product configurations.

- Partner with Hardware Engineering teams to source and validate bills of material, and with Commodity Managers to price components and incorporate transformation costs into product-level cost estimates.

- Deliver rate card outputs to partner finance teams, enabling accurate capital expenditure planning and deal pricing across the business.

- Monitor rate variances across planning cycles, identify cost drivers, and drive actions to control costs toward organizational targets.

- Own execution of strategic initiatives for the supply chain finance organization, including cross-functional projects that reduce cost, improve forecasting accuracy, or close gaps in financial processes.

- Build and maintain reporting and ad-hoc analyses that make cost trends and key drivers accessible to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
