The Software Development Engineer will be responsible for coding, testing, releasing, supporting, and troubleshooting solutions based off the Web and/or Mobile App Software Development Kits (SDKs) within the Navitaire Digital Platform and solutions based off the Navitaire Kiosk SDK. ### In this role you'll - Share knowledge on relevant technologies and adhere to coding and implementation standards - Collaborate with scrum team on team priorities - Participate in operational rotation and address production issues promptly - Keep training materials up to date and support the development of new functional and technical experts on the team Develop and enhance own capabilities and demonstrate flexibility to meet goals - Provide functional expertise on assigned Navitaire airline system or sub-system - Analyze product backlog items, propose solutions, code, and automate testing of optimized solutions, and conduct peer reviews About the ideal candidate: BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or equivalent experience - 2+ years of professional programming experience in C#,.NET, and SQL 1+ years recognized as a subject matter expert of enterprise-level systems or sub-systems, working on coding, design, and production support - 1+ years of experience working in an agile setting Airline industry knowledge is beneficial Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Open to work in a hybrid set-up Good analytical skills - Ability to work in an engaging and diverse environment Collaborative, proactive, and motivated individual Baseline: C# and.NET.NET Core HTML 5 CSS Angular TypeScript REST API NPM.NET MAUI Serverless functions (preferably) Azure Functions. SQL (SQL Server) ### API integration and implementation Unit tests Plus Test automation experience using xUnit, NUnit or other C# test automation framework Experience with implementing cloud deployed solutions (Azure preferred, AWS considered) Web development experience with Angular or React Hands-on experience working within microservice based architecture External API design / implementation experience Cloud data storage experience (Azure SQL, Cosmos or equivalents) Experience working with CI/CD automation Test automation development experience beyond unit testing (integration, performance, etc) ### Nice to have Mobile app mobile development native (Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective C, etc.) or cross-platform (React Native, Flutter) Diversity & Inclusion Amadeus aspires to be a leader in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the tech industry, enabling every employee to reach their full potential by fostering a culture of belonging and fair treatment, attracting the best talent from all backgrounds, and as a role model for an inclusive employee experience.
