Experience in compliance, information security, IT audit, or risk management. Experience creating regulatory compliance reports and briefings. ### Preferred qualifications 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience advising Product and Engineering teams on compliance issues. Effective communication skills verbally and in writing. Attention to detail with a bias toward action. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. This team partners across product, engineer, and operations to manage legal obligations end-to-end, getting and staying compliant across the globe. Our teams lead cross-functional working groups to design and implement the appropriate compliance strategy for incoming laws. We manage compliance long term, utilizing controls to measure and scale how we comply. We also handle testing, risk assessments, and issue management related to our compliance positions. We handle the Digital Services Act Audit and Systemic Risk Assessments, including cross-YouTube VP engagement to sign off on external publications. In this role, you'll facilitate leadership engagement on critical and timely compliance topics. YouTube regularly engages Product VPs and Directors to make compliance decisions on our strategy for emerging regulatory topics. This role is designed to empower those leaders with the information they need to navigate those strategic decisions. You'll organize various compliance and related Product perspectives into executive briefings, reports, and other similar updates. You'll facilitate regular thematic updates to teams across YouTube, and support ongoing YouTube-wide program health.
