Software Engineering Managers have not only the technical expertise to take on and provide technical leadership to major projects, but also manage a team of Engineers. You not only optimize your own code but make sure Engineers are able to optimize theirs. As a Software Engineering Manager you manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team. Teams work all across the company, in areas such as information retrieval, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, security, data compression, user interface design; the list goes on and is growing every day. Operating with scale and speed, our exceptional software engineers are just getting started -- and as a manager, you guide the way. With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally. Advertisers and publishers around the world use Google Ads to promote their products and grow their businesses. The Advertiser Platform (AP) is the bedrock of Google Ads, providing programmatic interfaces and data to power advertiser experiences. Google Ads is at the forefront of AI innovation, applying cutting-edge machine learning and Generative AI models like Gemini to power a multi-billion dollar global business. Our work directly impacts billions of users by protecting users from harm, improving ad quality, and optimizing campaigns for advertiser return-on-investment. We foster a culture of deep collaboration, partnering closely with teams like Google Research and DeepMind to solve complex challenges. Join us to work on state-of-the-art AI, take on problems at an unparalleled scale, and build the next generation of advertising technology. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ### US $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at Google. ## At a glance - Posted by the employer: Not stated - First seen by OpenNash: Oct 13, 2026 - Last checked: Oct 13, 2026 - Listed for: Under a day - Location: Mountain View, CA, USA[Apply on Alphabet’s careers site →](https://www.google.com/about/careers/applications/jobs/results/104721253633270470-software-engineering-manager-advertiser-platform-infrastructure-and-experiences) ## More jobs at Alphabet ### [Director, Software Engineering, Search Logs Data Platform](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/625f7ed84291403b68b6/) Mountain View, CA, USA ### [Machine Learning Staff Software Engineer, Pixel Camera](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/115fb183996d1aa33ca1/) Mountain View, CA, USA ### [Photos Mission Tech Lead, Applied AI, Full Stack](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/db16915485c08aaef336/) Mountain View, CA, USA ### [Play and Developer Ecosystem Strategy Lead](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/04961a92863cd0e34c96/) Mountain View, CA, USA ### [Product Manager II, Watch Software, Consumer and Developer Communications Experiences](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/408f393be7a96a10a892/) Mountain View, CA, USA ## Similar jobs at other companies ### [Sr Lead Software Engineer - Platform Engineering](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/jpmorganchase/jobs/6e2b4c94b60d347943a8/) JPMorganChase · Austin, TX, United States ### [Software Engineer-Platform Engineering / Kubernetes](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/lowes/jobs/8586887b0af9bc6371c6/) Lowe's · Lowe's Charlotte Technology Hub ### [Sr. Staff Software Engineering - WindowsOS Platform](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/qualcomm/jobs/7cb9ef4aed16ac6c0bb9/) Qualcomm · San Diego, California, United States of America ### [Manager III, Software Development, Advertiser Publisher Monetization - Media & Entertainment Advertiser Performance](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/amazon/jobs/b0a273b654e14171ca24/) Amazon · US, CA, Sunnyvale ### [Senior Platform Software Engineer (OCI - Developer Platform)](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/oracle/jobs/dd53310762b7dbb9f8ee/) Oracle · Nashville, TN, United States OpenNash lists jobs from employers’ own careers sites and does not handle applications.
