Ability to travel less than 10% of the time internationally. ### Preferred qualifications 4 years of experience in consumer electronics/embedded systems design. Experience with embedded systems, processor selection, various communication protocols (especially DRAM, UFS, USB-C, SPI, I2C/I3C, UART, MIPI, DSI/CSI), analog design, sensor design, low power design, audio acoustics, Cadence/Allegro, various RF technologies. Experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification, and Python scripting. Experience with SOC architecture and validation. Familiarity with concepts like concurrency, DVFS, and peripheral interfaces. Strong electrical engineering fundamentals, including the ability to design high speed digital or analog systems. About the job As a Pixel Platform Hardware Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for Pixel platform hardware architecture design excellence by executing system-level bench validation/regression testing, and performance optimization. You will apply your expertise in consumer electronics system design to define quality and validation strategies for high-speed interfaces, signal/power integrity, SOC validation and system integration. The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
