Experience in evaluating, integrating, or leveraging AI technologies, tools, or automated processes for engineering execution and program velocity. Experience in software development or infrastructure engineering. ### Preferred qualifications 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience collaborating with internal product, engineering, and large customer teams to drive cross-functional programs and roll out new technologies and solutions. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguous technical issues and drive consensus. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and organizational boundaries. Demonstrated capability to manage ambiguity and balance a broad range of technical, operational, and stakeholder factors when identifying problems, proposing solutions, and making decisions. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Technical Program Manager on the Rollouts team, you will lead complex, high-visibility technical programs that empower engineers across Google to safely and continuously deploy software at planet scale.
