We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day.

As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. The Over-the-Top (OTT) mission is to deliver unique, delightful experiences for live TV and premium content on YouTube consistent across all surfaces and built on a shared platform.

This mission includes building and innovating the YouTube TV end-t-end experience, Primetime Channels, and the YouTube Sports vertical in YouTube.com. YouTube TV is the fastest growing cable provider in the industry with a direct line of sight to being the nation's largest, most profitable and innovative linear TV provider. As a Tech Lead (TL), you will lead the technical infrastructure and end-to-end solution to use personalization to drive incremental business and OI for OTT, in order to grow YouTube’s OTT services to become market-leading, healthily profitable and defensible.
