We leverage technical know-how, sharp problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and partners from abuse across Google Play. As authoritative workflow owners, the Content Strategy team serves as "0-to-1" design architects and content policy experts, building the structural frameworks that scale our operational capabilities. Day-to-day, team members own the operational reality of content policies by acting as subject matter experts, managing complex escalations, conducting targeted sweeps, and driving continuous process and detection improvements. To support rapid ecosystem growth, the team also leads the messy, early-stage work of incubation—designing the foundational playbooks, training, and operational frameworks required to scale new safety systems effectively. Our deep expertise in content policy is the engine that fuels this design. On this team, you are a big-picture thinker with the judgment and decision-making instinct to navigate ambiguity— and execute from "0 to 1". You are a team player who thrives in cross-functional spaces, seamlessly partnering globally with engineers, product managers, policy, and operations to identify and fight abuse cases with urgency. Ultimately, you take pride in knowing your work directly promotes trust in Google and ensures the highest levels of user safety.
