You will operate across geographically dispersed environments, as this directs distributed teams and prime security vendors to establish repeatable frameworks that standardize safety, compliance, and operational efficiency at scale. As a part of this role, you will be a master of executive stakeholder management, possessing a sophisticated track record of building trust and driving alignment with C-suite leaders, business unit heads, and event production agencies. As the Lead, you will ensure that security design seamlessly supports high-level business objectives, staying at the forefront of industry trends and evolving global threat landscapes. In this role, you will drive cross-functional integration across key internal partners such as Events and Experiences, Google Cloud, YouTube, Deepmind, Leadership Support Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and Communications while managing coordination with local and federal public-safety agencies. You will function as the senior operational authority during emergencies, direct crisis command, business continuity, and executive decision-support. Additionally, the role maintains strict fiscal stewardship over multi-million-dollar event security operating budgets, managing vendor commercial terms, master service agreements, and performance Service Level Agreement (SLAs) to deliver measurable business impact.From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions.
